March 14th, 2014

SwiftCarbon Australia launches its first concept store, spearheaded by current professional cyclist Jonathan Cantwell of Drapac Professional Cycling.

Jonathan will be there to welcome the early birds, as the doors open on Saturday 15th March, in St Kilda at the Melbourne beachfront – a popular spot for cyclists skirting the bay on a beautiful day out on the bike.

The store presents SwiftCarbon’s full range of mountain, TT/triathlon and road bikes, including the brand new super svelte SCULP (SwiftCarbon Ultra Light Project), built entirely in Germany. Even while racing as a professional, Cantwell managed to find the time to oversee the challenging task of fitting out a high-end retail store.

For him it’s an investment in his future – looking forward to a career that progresses after racing. After racing in Europe with Saxo-Tinkoff, competing in the Tour de France and other major races on the European calendar, he decided to move back to Australia to ride for an Australian team, and to represent SwiftCarbon in his nation of origin. While still racing in Europe, he began talks with SwiftCarbon’s founder Mark Blewett, who sent him a SwiftCarbon Ultravox to test. He clearly liked it.

Free service

To celebrate this auspicious opening week, SwiftCarbon will be offering a free service tune-up for a year with the first 25 bikes bought before 23 March.

Win a frame!

Also, one lucky visitor to the store will win a SwiftCarbon Attack road or Drone TT frame. When you come in the store, answer this simple question and you’re in with a chance of winning the frame.

What superlight weight did the SCULP hit headlines for ducking under:

A) 1kg, B) 800g, C) sub-700g?

Jonathan and the team are looking forward to welcoming you to the new SwiftCarbon Concept Store – visit us at Shop 8B St Kilda Sea Baths, 20 Jacka Boulevard, St Kilda, Melbourne.
